A bit of mouthful…

I am trying to install symfony by using pear on my imac. I get the following error;

ERROR: The default config file is not a valid config file or is corrupted.

when I try to run this script;

sudo ./pear channel-discover pear.symfony-project.com

So I went googling and found;

So I went off and remove my pear config file.

mv /Applications/MAMP/bin/php/php5.3.6/conf/pear.conf /tmp

and then ran the command again and now everything works great
